Graeme on a Gbike!

Graeme on his GBike!

It’s not every day that your colleague gets to experience Google’s HQ. Graeme is there with a client of ours (who is a major world partner with Google) as part of the Senior Executive Development programme. He got to run our Tomorrow’s World Today workshop in the morning yesterday, and then did a site visit of Googleplex that afternoon. Not a bad day in the office for him.

Some of Google’s guiding principles:

  • It’s often easier to make progress on risky and ambitious projects than on those that are less so. BECAUSE the type of people who want to work on the ambitious projects are exactly the type of people you want to work with.
  • You might fail a few times. But that’s part of the process.
  • Just because we’ve been successful in the past doesn’t mean we’re preordained to be successful in the future. You need to think less about where you want to be today, and more about where you want to be five years from now.

These are much better than your company’s core values of trust, integrity, respect and customer service, right?!? What would work be like in your company if you just applied one of these three principles properly in your office this week?

Chat to us if you’d like to book or enquire about one of our presenters running a Tomorrow’s World Today workshop or keynote presentation.
